I’ve taken a brief hiatus, but I’m back!! And I’m SO excited to share with you what’s been going on in my Powersheets. March was a whirlwind of a month and April looks to be full of goodness.

So what’s new!? What have you been up to??

March was the month of travel

Las Vegas

And a quick trip to DC {Would you be interested in hearing about the process for Global Entry!? Let me know!}

I was worried progress on my goals would be hindered between all the travel fun, but I’m proud to say I was still able to move forward!

Monthly Goals

  • Love Eric well: Our date nights are such a treat! Although those are fun, it’s more about being intentional throughout the whole week. Speaking with love and patience.
  • Create margin: I’m slowly reteaching myself that I don’t have to say yes to everything. Working on carefully determining what’s meant for me and letting go of the rest.
  • Budget focus: Bye bye debt! We’re so excited about this one. We’re both on the same page with our budget which makes SUCH a difference.
  • Pack (x3): If you’re gonna travel, you gotta pack! I’m feeling a lot more confident in my packing skills after our trips. Care to read some of my packing tips and even my master packing list!?
  • Travel (x3): Las Vegas, Charleston, and DC — all were a blast and it was so fun to be able to visit new places
  • Team call: it’s totally okay to cross things off. I determined this wasn’t a true need for me and instead of forcing it to happen, I gracefully let it go.
  • Global Entry: all set to travel globally SO much easier!

Weekly Goals

  • Unplug: This has been amazing! I’ll be honest, it can be hard to shut it all down and be without that technology, but it’s so worth it — give yourself the space to think and enjoy.
  • Self love & care: Self care isn’t selfish. I can give a better version of myself when I’m being taken care of. If you don’t take care of you, who will?
  • Date night: We’re enjoying these. Often times it’s dinner {we LOVE to eat!}, but sometimes it’s just a long walk or a relaxing night in. It doesn’t have to be fancy, it just has to be quality time together.
  • Biz growth: This is shifting and transitioning, so growth looks a bit different right now, but I’d still consider March a win!
  • Meal plan & prep: We need to get fullyyyy back on board with the planning so our grocery trips are less panic, but prepping has still been going down. And still makes life so much easier.
  • Blog x2: I fell off the wagon there for a bit, but as you can see I’m back!

Daily Goals

  • Sleep 7+ hours
  • No snooze
  • Quiet time
  • Pray
  • Espanol
  • 10k steps
  • Handletter

Well it’s pretty clear here in the daily goals what went well and what didn’t. That’s what I love about these Powersheets — it’s so clear how I’m doing. These are the specific habits I’m trying to cultivate in my life and it’s simple to track and reflect. The snoozing could especially use some work! I also realize I need to set aside some more creative time for my handlettering. When it’s a super busy day that’s usually the first thing to let go, but even just a few minutes to creativity does me good.

So what’s in store for April!?

Some goals are the same, some are fresh. I’m excited to see what goodness is cultivated in this new month. Spring is in full force! Blooming, cleaning, preparing — those are words that come to mind for this season. Preparing a life giving space. Cultivating life and enjoying the blooms and growth. Greatness is ahead yall.

With growth and newness, sometimes we still need to remind ourselves of truth. These were some that came to mind today and I pray they speak to your heart as well ❤

  1. Thank you for sharing. I found your post on the CWM blog. Its so fun to see your progress and updates on here. I have a daily goal of “kiss” for my husband erik. It goea along your line of loving your man well. I wonder if there are any books or pkaces you find info on how to love your man in a kind and thoughtful way. I feel like im more quick to anger or frustration than i am to have loving and peaceful words. I loved seeing your trips you went on. One of my goals for the year is to seek adventure so i have been trying to do that every month! Hopefully you have good progress this month and keep up the good fight!

    1. Hey girl! Thank you so much for reading and leaving a comment ❤️ I love the community of CWM and it’s amazing to connect with other goal driven ladies!! We did a love “challenge” using a book by Jefferson and Alysa Bethke called “31 Creative Ways to Love & Encourage Him/Her”. There’s a book for you and your guy. Each day has a different “challenge” for you to complete that’ll make your partner feel loved. It encouraged me to think out of the box and try new things! I had a lot of fun doing it and even when I didn’t necessarily want to, I was loving and that felt good! The 5 Love Languages is also an awesome resource!! I think it all really boils down to loving your partner in the way THEY want to be loved. I hope this is helpful!
